Miss England girls swap sashes for 'taches

Miss England girls swap sashes for 'taches

Fifty of England's loveliest ladies swapped their sash for a 'tache to encourage men to get growing for this year's TacheBack campaign.

The beauty queens have put their battle for the Miss England crown aside to support the Everyman Male Cancer Campaign's TacheBack fundraiser, which involves men growing sponsored moustaches throughout September.

The competition's Miss Charity, Lydia Fahy, is firmly behind the campaign. She said: "If men get involved they may gain more than just some facial fuzz. All us girls like a manly man - and that means our man growing some facial hair. And raising some money for a charity like Everyman will help get the ladies paying attention too!"

Krista Eleftheriou of Everyman said: "The Miss England girls are brilliant spokespeople for the campaign. If anyone can get British men to pay attention it's 50 of the most beautiful girls in the country. So men - grow a 'tache, and raise cash for research into prostate and testicular cancer and you might just nab yourself one of these beauties."
