Statement
Hey Folks thanks for looking in
As you probably know by now I'm taking part in this years Tachback,
I'm not growing a Tache for my health or just to look remarkably dapper - I'm doing it to support Everyman, the UK's leading Male Cancer Campaign. Please sponsor me and together we'll help to beat testicular and prostate cancer.
So this weekend the tache was born, with much trepidation I went to the hairdressers and asked him to perform what I was convinced was going to make me look like a prize idiot for a month.
However it appears I was wrong, apprently it "suits" me, I'm not sure if thats a compliment or not yet, however so far I've been called Chopper, Morgan Spurlock, been told to get a police hat or a workmans one, get a Harley and so far worst of all I look like Geoff from Byker Grove which I think was a bit beyond my time but people have agreed so it must be true.
Honesly I don't care what I'm called I'm here for a reason and that reason IS to make money for Everyman and each and every one of those names is going to come with a sponsorship price so cough up people, dig deep because this is an amazing cause to be helping.
Donations are collected for us by those lovely people at Bmycharity. So you can be sure it's safe and secure to donate here. We'll return you to the TacheBack website after you have donated.

Cheers Goldie - my £2k includes the tax man's Gift Aid of £436, so it just shows what a difference ticking that box can make to donations. Anyway, since it's what the charity will be getting on behalf of my efforts, that's the figure I like to quote ;-)
A very healthy total you've raised yourself too - let's hope Everyman reaches their £1,000,000 goal this year!

Hey Goldy, glad to know that my fund raising efforts aren't going un-noticed :-) Not quite as high an amount as last year, but you know what some people can be like - not realising it had been a whole year since the last dodgy tache!
Anyway, unfortunately I won't be able to make the finale party as I've totally run out of holidays! So I'm going to the pub after work this Friday instead :-)
